As we read it this week, Cook discusses how relying on official sources by journalists can be both good and bad. It could offer the insider story and often help shed light on discrepancies mentioned otherwise or propaganda or incorrect information, resulting in the opportunity for the journalists to expose the truth. This might not be the scene though if the journalists do not dig in and just leave it saying that they are only reporting the news.
